Work Experience

September 2007- August 2008: Worked at a private translation office in Damascus, Syria.
My main duty was to translate formal documents from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic. I was liked by the people at the office for my accurate translation, and efficient and fast paced work. My work was organized and I always met the deadlines set by the management. I left this job to start studying at the SIUST School of Medicine in Syria.

September 2014: worked as a translator at World Food Moscow 2014

October 2014: worked as a translator/interpretation at Interpolitex Moscow Trade Show

Education and Training

July 2006: Earned my High School Diploma (Cambridge curriculum) from International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Education was carried out exclusively in English.

September 2006 – July 2007: Studied translation in Moscow for a year. I did not finish my study because of my family’s plan to relocate to Syria.

September 2008 – July 2013: Studied medicine at the SIUST School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. I did not finish my degree because I had to leave the country due to the Syrian crisis.

September 2013 – Present: Studying medicine at the RUDN School of Medicine in Moscow.

I am a punctual person with great time management, communication and presentation skills. I am a very fast learner. I respect and actually listen to my superiors and try to benefit from their experience. I am very efficient in my work and can work independently or as part of team.

I am excellent with computers. I can work with both Windows and Mac operating systems. I am well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). I can also type very fast using Russian, English, or Arabic keyboard.

I like reading English and Arabic novels. I also write short stories in both languages.
I have translated many medical materials for my professors and colleague students.
